On August 1, 2025, Gravers Lane Gallery hosted 2 artist talks and a curator talk to coincide with the opening reception of two exhibitions In Motion (July 17 – August 28, 2025) and  Material Memory: Twisted Lines, Rooted Forms (July 24 – September 6, 2025).  Barbara Straussberg gave a talk, followed by Lisa Belsky, both part of our current exhibition, Material Memory: Twisted Lines, Rooted Forms. After, Kate Dannenberg and Ellyse Bendillo, of Night Shift Studio, spoke about In Motion: Jewelry That Plays Back, their second exhibition curated in collaboration with Gravers Lane Gallery. The talks gave insight into both Straussberg and Belsky's processes and approach to concept, as well as Bendillo and Dannenberg's considerations when curating their exhibition. The talk occurred at 6:30 PM, during our First Friday Opening Reception from 5:00 to 8:00 PM, as part of the Arts & Eats event series in Chestnut Hill.
