Artist Statement
I love how poetic and magical jewelry can be. I chose jewelry as my main medium for that specific reason. While earning my MFA degree, I started thinking about the power of objects; an ability to evoke some sort of response or change in our minds. How it can connect to your memory, belief, faith, etc. I thought the best way to explore this idea was through something portable and wearable, and that is jewelry.
