Post-consumer ephemeral objects provide Amy Orr with inspiration and working materials. Orr graduated with an MFA from Tyler School of Art, Temple University. The artist also has an MA from The University of the Arts and a BFA from Bezalel Academy of Art and Design (Israel). Orr’s art work has been widely exhibited and published nationally and internationally. Amy Orr is the Director of FiberPhiladelphia and a Faculty member at Moore College of Art and Design. She lives in Philadelphia as well as in Southold, NY with her husband, photographer John Woodin and their son, Hal.
