Aimee Petkus

BIO

Aimee Petkus grew up in Colorado and received an undergraduate degree in geology from Colorado State University. She worked pro- fessionally as a geologist for several years in New York City and sur- rounding areas. Unsatisfied with a paper pushing job, she went on a 2 year adventure collecting rocks and minerals to get back to what she loved about geology. Along that adventure she dabbled insome lapidary which then led her to the Savannah College of Art and Design where she earned a BFA in Jewelry and Objects in2013.
